WHO QUALIFIES FOR FREE TRAINING?
If you have purchased a new Kamco Clearflow power flushing pump (either direct from us, or from a merchant) you are entitled to ONE FREE TRAINING PLACE per pump purchased.
Boiler manufacturers now insist that heating systems are properly flushed when installing a new boiler to an old system, and may even make the warranty conditional on this. As a result, and because many old systems have circulation problems, a power flushing pump is now an essential part of an engineer's toolkit.
Kamco Clearflow power flushing pumps come with comprehensive instructions, in addition, every pump customer is entitled to a free training session at our St. Albans works.
For qualified, knowledgeable heating engineers, they last approximately four and a half hours, and ensure that engineers can confidently power flush heating systems and obtain the best results. We have a fully equipped training room with a complete working heating system (with a Vaillant combi boiler) on which the correct procedures are demonstrated.
We discuss the different types of heating system and how best to flush them. Types of system covered are vented, sealed, combi boiler, microbore, gravity hot water, single-pipe, single-feed cylinders and thermal store systems.
We don't just tell you what to do - we also tell you what NOT to do, and discuss with you the circumstances in which heating systems may be considered to be beyond power flushing.
You'll find the training very informative. We've been building and using power flushing pumps since 1992, and we're happy to pass the know-how and insight gained on to our customers.

If you do not yet own a Kamco pump, but are considering purchasing one, a fee of £60* is payable. However, we will refund this fee if you then purchase a Kamco pump either on the Training day or within the two weeks afterwards.
If you have purchased a second hand Kamco pump, training is available at £60* per person.
