No. of gm sodium thiosulphate required = Volume of treated water (in cubic metres) x 2 x p.p.m. (mg/l)
of free chlorine, i.e. 1000 litres of water @ 50 p.p.m., quantity required = 1 (cubic metre) x 2 x 50, = 100g
An approximate working guide is 2g. sodium thiosulphate per one Kamchlor tablet.
White tablets containing sodium dichloro-isocyanurate, together with inert compounds chosen to effervesce for quick dissolution of tablets. When added to water, hypochlorous acid in solution is produced.
In excess of 3 years at ambient temperatures.
Store in a cool dry place
Sweep up and dispose by flushing away with copious amounts of water.
